Privacy Policy, Art of Food reviews

"Art of Food reviews" is an internal tool run by Art of Food (Upper Hutt, New Zealand). It connects to the café's own Google Business Profile so the owner can read customer reviews and post replies.

What data the app accesses

• With the owner's permission (Google sign-in), the app uses the Google Business Profile API to read reviews left on Art of Food's own business listing and to post replies to them.
• Review data includes the reviewer's public display name, star rating, review text and date, as already shown publicly on Google.

How the data is used

• Only to draft and publish replies to reviews of Art of Food, and to keep a record of which reviews have been answered.
• Review text may be sent to an AI service (Google Gemini) to help draft a reply. Replies are approved by the owner or follow rules the owner has set.
• We do not sell, share or use this data for advertising.

Storage and retention

Review records and draft replies are stored in a private database used only by Art of Food. Sign-in tokens are stored as encrypted secrets. You can ask us to delete any record about your review.

Google API data

Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
